***IMPORTANT NOTES***
This cream cheese is shipped frozen to Palawan and is kept frozen in our storage. Previously frozen cream cheeses are significantly grainy and crumbly when thawed, and this is normal.
If you are using cream cheese to make spreads or frostings, do not use a previously frozen one.
Frozen Cream Cheese Uses:
- Baked goods
- Soups
- Sauces
- Casseroles
How to thaw a frozen cream cheese:
- In the refrigerator.
Take the amount of cream cheese that you want to use and place them in a resealable bag or an airtight container. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. - At room temperature.
Allow the cream cheese to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour. - In the microwave.
Unwrap the cream cheese and place it in a microwave-safe dish and microwave on high for 10 to 15 seconds (time varies depending on the wattage or power).
How to make a thawed cream cheese creamy again:
- Use a mixer or just a whisk and whip the cheese until it is smooth again. Do not overdo it.
- In a microwave, heat the cheese for 20-30 seconds to combine the liquid and the solids together. After that, mix it with a fork or a whisk.
